Christine Creter Joins the Don’t Feed the Fear Podcast

Heading back to school is a season of fresh starts, but for families managing food allergies, like our founder Christine’s, it can also be filled with worry. Parents often wonder: Will my child be safe? Will they feel included? Where will food impact their learning, extracurricular, or social interactions? Will everyone be ready in the event of an allergic reaction?

These questions, and Christine’s personal experience, are why Creter Group stepped up to organize an initiative sponsored by the CDC and AAP through Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) to establish a set of concise, clear recommendations for food allergy management in schools. e. They offer schools a practical roadmap for safety and inclusion.

In a recent episode of the Don’t Feed the Fear Podcast, hosted by Dr. Amanda Whitehouse, Christine Creter had the chance to share her personal experience managing a child with 15 life-threatening food allergies, as well as how to unpack what these recommendations mean, how schools can use them, and how parents can feel more confident as the year begins.
